What’s going on here, then?
Well, this is the news / blog site for The Robot Trading Company, the Indie Genre eBook Webstore (note to self: find better acronym than ‘IGeBW’) that’s run by the good folks at Angry Robot.
(At least, when I say ‘the good folks’, I mainly mean me: I’m Darren, AR’s Marketing / Publicity Manager, General Digital / Webguy and now the proud proprietor of The Robot Trading Company.)
The Robot Reader will keep you up-to-date with all the latest RTC news and announcements – including special offers and those all-important new title alerts – as well as blogging on a variety of subjects: profiling publishers, interviewing authors, displaying cover art galleries, commenting from time-to-time on major developments in the world of eBooks… good stuff like that.
You should feel free to comment on any of the blog posts that take your interest. No, actually, dammit, it’s compulsory: if we’ve gone to the effort of putting together the content, the least you can do is spare thirty seconds of your online attention-time to let us know what you thought of it. Fair’s fair, right?
And there are other ways of keeping in touch as well, depending on your personal media-consumption preferences, how switched-on you are, whether you have a life in what they still insist on calling ‘the real world’:
